The original Iron Hill brewpub in Newark, Delaware
Since 1996

Two founders,
one stubborn idea.

Kevin Finn and Mark Edelson opened the first Iron Hill in Newark, Delaware in 1996 on a single conviction: brew every beer on site, cook every plate from scratch, and treat the room like a neighbor's kitchen.

Thirty years and 88 medals later, that idea is reopening across Pennsylvania and Delaware under founder Mark Edelson.

The Kitchen

A full scratch
kitchen. Always.

Every Iron Hill runs a from-scratch kitchen alongside the brewhouse, plated to sit beside the beer poured next to it. Not an afterthought to the taps, a match for them.
