Joe learned to cook at an early age, watching his parents and grandparents who were passionate about the art and the family time that comes along with mealtime. A culinary graduate of Paul Smith’s College, Joe cooked for Victory Brewing Company for several years, opening their third Brewpub before joining the Iron Hill team in December 2016. A perfect match for our kitchen, Joe enjoys working side by side with Iron Hill Wilmington's Head Brewer, using fresh, award-winning beer as an ingredient to create flavorful dishes. Freshness is key in Joe’s kitchens, at the restaurant and at his home, where he can often be found cooking fresh eggs from the chickens in his backyard farm and growing produce in his garden. Equal to his passion for cooking, he enjoys woodwork and gardening.
