Geoffrey (Geoff) Allen is a culinary expert with over 20 years of restaurant experience across the Mid-Atlantic region prior to his role as Head Chef at Iron Hill Rehoboth Beach. Most recently, Geoffrey was Corporate Chef at La Vida Hospitality Group. Prior to that, he was Corporate Chef for Public House LLC.
Geoff enjoys quality, local ingredients cooked correctly. For example, in the heart of summer, Geoff enjoys boat scallops from Ocean City, corn from the Corn Man and peaches from Bennett’s. He enjoys taking trips and trying new restaurants.
Geoff has two daughters, Skye and Madison, who also both work for Iron Hill. In his youth, he made 300 skydives, but his adventurous spirit did not stop there: he obtained a first-degree black sash in Kung Fu when he was 47, and still enjoys yoga.
