Sr. Head Brewer
Matt started his Iron Hill career in 2006 as a bartender. His love for craft beer, though, took from behind the bar and into the brewery, taking a position as an Assistant Brewer. He started by cleaning kegs and cleaning up one day per week. Over time, however, Matt took on more and more responsibilities. He is now full-time brewer and hasn’t looked back since.
Will graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in History in 2012. But, even before he graduated with a degree in studying the past, he knew he wanted his future career to be in the brewery. In 2013, he helped open Iron Hill Voorhees as a Host, and by the end of the first year was working in the brewery. Will called both New Jersey locations home for the first two years of his brewing career, but has since settled quite comfortably into the Phoenixville location. He enjoys brewing and drinking nearly all traditional German lager styles.
