Sr. Head Brewer
Matt started his Iron Hill career in 2006 as a bartender. His love for craft beer, though, took from behind the bar and into the brewery, taking a position as an Assistant Brewer. He started by cleaning kegs and cleaning up one day per week. Over time, however, Matt took on more and more responsibilities. He is now full-time brewer and hasn’t looked back since.
Pete Corbett had been working in restaurants for over 20 years when he started at Iron Hill in 2013. But he had his eyes set on a career change. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life," echoed in his brain. He had graduated from The Restaurant School with a degree in Culinary Arts and had begun applying his gastronomic skills to making award-winning beer as a homebrewer. A Former Mug Club Member, he started serving at the North Wales location to get his foot in the brewery door. After proving his commitment to Iron Hill, he earned his place in the brewery as Assistant Brewer in the Spring of 2015. By summer of 2017, he became a Lead Brewer and was recently promoted to Head Brewer.
