Sr. Head Brewer
Andrew started down the path of brewing after reading Charlie Papazian's, The Complete Joy of Homebrewing. A passion for beer led him to Australia, traveling and tasting various craft beers for a year. After returning, Andrew began working for Iron Hill as a server, then Assistant Brewer at Wilmington, Head Brewer at West Chester and now Sr. Head Brewer at Media, North Wales and Voorhees. It’s been a beer-filled adventure to say the least.
Pete Corbett had been working in restaurants for over 20 years when he started at Iron Hill in 2013. But he had his eyes set on a career change. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life," echoed in his brain. He had graduated from The Restaurant School with a degree in Culinary Arts and had begun applying his gastronomic skills to making award-winning beer as a homebrewer. A Former Mug Club Member, he started serving at the North Wales location to get his foot in the brewery door. After proving his commitment to Iron Hill, he earned his place in the brewery as Assistant Brewer in the Spring of 2015. By summer of 2017, he became a Lead Brewer and was recently promoted to Head Brewer.
