Sr. Head Brewer
Matt started his Iron Hill career in 2006 as a bartender. His love for craft beer, though, took from behind the bar and into the brewery, taking a position as an Assistant Brewer. He started by cleaning kegs and cleaning up one day per week. Over time, however, Matt took on more and more responsibilities. He is now full-time brewer and hasn’t looked back since.
Kyle's passion for beer started after having his first IPA, and grew when he strolled by a home brew store, where he thought, "I want to make beer." After many years of homebrewing, Kyle decided he wanted to pursue a career, so he enrolled in the American Brewers Guild. There, he completed the Craft Brewers Apprenticeship program and spent five weeks interning with Iron Hill at our Chestnut Hill location, learning our brewery operation. Kyle joined our brewery team in North Wales when his apprenticeship ended. After time in both North Wales and Ardmore, Kyle was promoted to Lead Brewer in Huntingdon Valley where he enjoys brewing and drinking (after work) fine ales and lagers!
