Jason Thomson

Head Chef

Jason joined the Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant family in 2009 as a prep cook and worked his way through the ranks to hold the opening head chef position at Iron Hill’s first location in the Carolinas Region in the lush upcountry of lively Greenville, SC.

Thomson started working as a dishwasher at Newark Country Club when he was 15. Instantly attracted to the pace and camaraderie of a kitchen, he worked in several more restaurants before enrolling in Delaware Tech’s culinary program where he earned his degree while working full time at Iron Hill.

Jason brings his passion for comfort food and bacon to South Carolina and he is already enjoying experiencing some southern hospitality firsthand with his wife and baby.
