Josh has two career passions: mentoring the next generation of cooks and creating healthy seasonal features, his favorite of which is cooking fish with whole grains and, also, duck, because of how versatile it is seasonally. He claims, “Duck fat may be my favorite food group.”
With a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pastry Arts, Josh spent a lot of time crafting tasty desserts across the Philadelphia region before transitioning into cooking for restaurants specializing in New American Cuisine, Spanish Tapas and Steaks.
Josh joined the Iron Hill team in 2011 as a Sous Chef at our West Chester location. He gained further experience at our locations in Phoenixville, Ardmore and North Wales before opening Huntingdon Valley as our Head Chef.
In 2018, Josh opened Iron Hill Center City as the Head Chef. When he’s not in the kitchen, you can find Josh on the volleyball court, be it playing or coaching, and he’s even coached two teams to Nationals.
