Michael brings nearly a decade of experience in the culinary industry to the Executive Chef position at Iron Hill Buckhead. In this role, he oversees the entire back of house staff, inventory and cost management, and refines systems to ensure product quality and consistency. Michael flexes his culinary creativity through daily specials, beer dinners and special events menus. On a daily basis, he prepares innovative dishes that pair perfectly with Iron Hill’s craft beer offerings.
Prior to joining the Iron Hill team, Michael served as the Executive Chef at P.F. Chang’s in Atlanta. He was responsible for ensuring the food achieved the highest standards, and promoted an unforgettable dining experience, as well as leading the entire culinary team and oversaw food costs and product order and delivery. Before this position, Michael served as the Kitchen Manager at the Cheesecake Factory in Alpharetta, where he ensured proper culinary protocols daily and managed the entire culinary staff, of which he was a member as a line cook prior to his promotion. Michael honed his skills in the kitchen serving as a line cook in several restaurants including Grand Luxe Café, Caroline Ale House and Longhorn Steakhouse.
Michael attended Dade Community College where he holds an Associate degree in science and majored in fire safety. Michael is passionate about cooking, reading and playing basketball.
