We’re counting down the days until the Brandywine Valley Craft Brewers Festival returns for its 14th year on Sat., May 17, at 1 p.m., at our Media location.
This year’s event promises to be one of the best tastings yet, with 24 diverse local breweries providing an impressive sampling showcase aside all of our 10 Iron Hill locations. We organize the repeat brewers’ festival to benefit our neighborhood friends at Media Youth Center, who provide a safe environment, along with a wide array of recreational and educational programs, for area youth.
“At Iron Hill, giving back to our neighbors is a critical part of who we are and what we do, and each year, our Media location contributes considerably to their community with the Brandywine Valley Craft Brewers Festival,” said our Director of Brewing Operations Mark Edelson. “We’re proud to host this exciting celebration of beer and brewing, now in its 14th year, and especially excited to honor our brewers who recently earned medals at the World Beer Cup.”
In addition to Iron Hill and its 10 locations pouring on-site, other participating breweries will include:
The annual outdoor beer festival is held rain or shine. Live music will elevate the beer-tasting atmosphere, with Tony Mowen performing at 1–3 p.m. and Lord Jive taking the stage from 3–5 p.m.
Iron Hill food will be also be available at a pay-as-you-go basis throughout the festival, and Media Youth Center will be selling pretzel necklaces for $3 (available while supplies last; cash only).
Grab your tickets online. We highly recommended you secure your tickets in advance, as the event is a repeat sell-out. Cost is $45 per person in advance; $50 per person at the door (if available). Designated driver tickets are also available for $5 per person.
