(Day Before) Father’s Day Brunch

This will be the fourth year of our annual dad appreciation brunch.  As always we do it on the Saturday before Father’s day so fathers with young children can spend actual father’s day with their kids.  This is a fun event.  Lots of guys come with friends and some are brought by their adult children as a gift.  Either way its an excuse to have some hearty food and a few daylight beers!  This year’s menu was put together by Sous Chef Tom Spiegel.  It’s the first time I’ve worked with him on beer and food pairing and I’m excited about what he’s come up with.  The whole menu and all of the details are below my signature.  Please call the restaurant at 856-273-0300 and ask for a manger to make reservations for the brunch specifically.  Our host stand won’t be handling this brunch.  Hope to see you there!

FIRST COURSE

Belgian Wit Beer Muffin

kumquat-basil marmalade and coriander cream cheese

Paired with Mahalo, Apollo!

SECOND COURSE

Sweet and Sour Rock Shrimp

belgian endive and preserved meyer lemon yogurt

Paired with Maibock

 

THIRD COURSE

Miso Glazed Kurobuta Pork Belly

sunny side egg, chinese broccoli, shiitake mushroom-sweet potato hash

and charred tomato-sriracha sauce

Paired with Orange Truffle

 

FOURTH COURSE

Goji Berries and Cream Crepe

ginseng gelato, asian pear and honey syrup

Paired with Belgian White
