I first met Chris Curtin of Éclat when he set up shop in West Chester back in 2004. Iron Hill and Éclat shared a PR agent and she told me I should go by and introduce myself. “He’s a really nice guy and he LOVES beer” she said. When I did introduce myself I learned we had even more in common, that we were both once avid cyclists and followed professional cycling. We did your first beer and chocolate event at Iron Hill shortly after and to this day it remains one of the favorite beer and food events I’ve done. Since then Chris has been featured in Bon Appetit, Food & Wine and Forbes and has won too many awards to list. Fortunately despite his success he hasn’t forgotten about Iron Hill or his old buddy Chris. He’s agreed to visit us in Chestnut Hill for another beer and chocolate pairing. So on Wed February 4th from 7-9 pm we’ll be offering six chocolates and truffles paired with six Iron Hill beers. Tickets are $35 per person including gratuity and reservations are necessary.
