Sr. Head Brewer
Matt started his Iron Hill career in 2006 as a bartender. His love for craft beer, though, took from behind the bar and into the brewery, taking a position as an Assistant Brewer. He started by cleaning kegs and cleaning up one day per week. Over time, however, Matt took on more and more responsibilities. He is now full-time brewer and hasn’t looked back since.
When he started, Doug was a server at Iron Hill and a homebrewer on the side. But soon, his passion for brewing led him from the server’s station to the brewery. Doug began as an Assistant Brewer at Iron Hill, and later took a Head Brewer role at Manayunk Brewing Company. Today Doug is back in the brewery at Iron Hill. His favorite beer styles include Belgians and wild, barrel-aged beers.
