Q. How does the King of the Hill Rewards Club membership work?

A. It is simple! Just present your King of the Hill Rewards Club card to your server during your visit so that you can earn points for every dollar you spend, excluding alcohol, tax, tip and gift card purchases. You also receive 10 points for each visit. Don't worry about forgetting your card! Your server can look up your card number by last name and zip code.

Q. How many points do I get?

A. First you will receive 150 points just for signing up. After that, you will receive 1 point for every $1 you spend, excluding alcohol, tax, tip and gift card purchases. You will also receive 10 additional points for each visit to any IHB you visit that day (not including the same store twice in the same day). For every 5 times you visit Iron Hill Brewery in a month, you receive an additional 25 points. All points earned will stay on your account, however your cumulative visits will return to 0 on the first of the month.

Q. What is my reward?

A. Once you accrue 250 points, a $25 credit will be added to your Club account. All excess points will rollover towards earning your next reward. You will also receive a gift on your birthday, so make sure that your profile is updated to reflect all current and correct information.

Q. How do I update my account information?

A. Go to the King of the Hill Rewards Club website home page and click on My Rewards Club Account. Enter your 14-digit King of the Hill Rewards Club card number and your zip code. Next, click on My Rewards Club Profile. Update your information and click Save Profile.

Q. Does my old Mug Club card still work with the new program?

A. Yes. All points and rewards will rollover. You do not have to get a new King of the Hill Card in order to receive all of the new benefits. However, you are welcome to trade in your old Mug Club card for the new King of the Hill card at any time. If you would like to take advantage of our Companion Card option, you must switch to the new King of the Hill card.

Q. What is the Companion Card?

A. It's an identical card on the same account. Both cards share the same account number. Points and rewards are shared. For example, one spouse works and dines at the Media location, while the other spouse works and dines in the Newark location. Both can use their card on the same day. Both will receive points for their purchases and visits. The companion will receive a birthday gift as well as the main cardholder.

Q. I'd like to get a companion card. Do I have to wait until my membership is up for renewal?

A. You can purchase the Companion Card any time you like for an additional $5.00. You will receive 5 points for the purchase. Expiration date does not change. You will not receive an additional mug or points. You must update your member profile to include companion's name, email address and birth date in order for your companion to receive the birthday gift.

Q. How come I don't get two mugs or twice as many points at sign up with the companion card?

A. The companion card is essentially one membership with two cards, allowing spouses or significant others to use their cards independently of one another, without having to pass a single card back and forth. All points and rewards are awarded to one account.

Q. I didn't get a gift on my birthday, how come?

A. Check to make sure you entered your birth date in your member profile. Go to the King of the Hill Rewards Club website home page and click on My Rewards Club Account. Enter your 14-digit King of the Hill Rewards Club card number (or old Mug Club card number) and your zip code. Next, click on My Rewards Club Profile. Enter your birth date and click Save Profile. If your birth date was properly entered, you may want to check your email junk folder. If it's not there, click on the Inquiries/Comments button above to send us an email.

Q. How can I access my King of the Hill Rewards Club account if I cannot find my Rewards Club card and do not know my card number?

A. Click on the Inquiries/Comments button above to send us an email and include your first and last name. We can look up your information in our system and send it to you. If you would like to receive a King of the Hill Rewards Club replacement card, please let us know in the email so we can mail one to you.

Q. When I enter my zip code to access my King of the Hill Rewards Club account online, nothing happens - the zip code clears from the form or it tells me my zip code is incorrect. How do I access my account?

A. If you enter a zip code that is incorrect, it is because the zip code you are entering does not match the zip code we have for your account. Click on the Inquiries/Comments button above to send us an email and include your name, card number, and the correct zip code.

Q. My point balance is less than what it was the last time I checked it, what happened to those points?

A. If you have dined with us in that time period and you have fewer points than before, you most likely hit the 250 point threshold to earn a $25 credit and your points started over. Check your credit balance under My King of the Hill Rewards Club Account to verify that you received the $25 credit. If you did not receive a credit, please send us an email by clicking on the Inquiries/Comments button above.

Q. I forgot to give my server my King of the Hill Rewards Club card during my last visit; can these points be added to my account?

A. Absolutely! Next time you dine with us, bring a copy of your receipt in and the manager on duty will add the missing points.

Q. How can I make sure I receive my King of the Hill Rewards Club points during my visit?

A. Make sure to give your King of the Hill Rewards Club card or last name to your server during your visit. Your card number must be assigned to the check to receive points. Your check will have your King of the Hill Rewards Club card number as well as the number of points you accrued during your visit.

Q. The 150 points for signing up/renewing my King of the Hill Rewards Club membership are not showing on my account.

A. Our apologies! Please send an email by clicking on the Inquiries/Comments button above and we will have those points added to your account.

Q. How do I know when my membership is up for renewal?

A. To find your renewal date, go to our home page and log in under My King of the Hill Rewards Club Account. Your renewal date will be listed on that webpage and there is a counter that will tell you how many days till you need to renew.

Q. How do I renew my membership?

A. You can renew your membership by filling out an application at any Iron Hill location. Once you pay the $25 renewal fee, you will receive your King of the Hill Rewards Club mug OR 25 points, depending on which option you choose. Unfortunately, online renewals are temporarily suspended due to a glitch in our system. 

Q. What does the "Renewal Month" on the back of my old Mug Club card mean?

A. We used to have 3 different Mug Club renewal periods, Mug Club 1 in February (February to May), Mug Club 2 in May (May to September) and Mug Club 3 in September (September to February). The month on the back of the card served as a reminder that you are up for renewal, and helps our staff recognize those members that may need to renew. We have moved to a rolling renewal system, therefore the month on the back of your card is now irrelevant. With our new online system, members can log in under My King of the Hill Rewards Club Account to check their renewal date on our website and will be reminded of their renewal date via email.

Q. The back of my old Mug Club card has a renewal month different from my renewal date, when do I renew my membership?

A. You should renew based off your renewal date to make sure you receive the full 12 month membership. To find your renewal date, go to our home page and log in under My King of the Hill Rewards Club Account. Your renewal date will be listed on that webpage and there is a counter that will tell you how many days until you need to renew.

Q. I just realized my Rewards Club membership is expired, can I still renew?

A. Yes, you can still renew. Please stop by your local Iron Hill location and ask one of our staff members for a renewal application. Once you pay the renewal fee, you will receive your mug or 25 points, depending on which option you choose and you're all set!

Q. I renewed my King of the Hill Rewards Club membership and received a new card because my old card was in bad shape. How do I transfer the balance of my old card onto my new card?

A. The balance and all previous information should rollover nicely to your new account. If you think there is an error, just send us an email by clicking on the Inquiries/Comments button above and include the old card number and the new card number. We will transfer your points, any credits, and your account information to the new card for you.

Q. Where can I find my credit balance?

A. Click on My King of the Hill Rewards Club Account and enter your 14-digit card number and zip code. Your reward balance will be listed under My Rewards Club Balance.

Q. How do I know when I received a $25 credit?

A. When you reach 250 points during a visit, the bottom of your receipt will tell you that you earned a $25 credit. You can also check your credit balance by logging in under My Rewards Club Account.

Q. How do I redeem my credits?

A. Don't leave home without it! You must present your Club Card to redeem any credits and will not be able to use any credits without it. The King of the Hill Rewards Club card works similar to a gift card: just let your server know you would like to use your credits and they will apply it to your check. You can use your card & credits at any Iron Hill location. Your server can check your credit balance if you're not sure how much you have on your card when you dine with us. Go to My Rewards Club Account on our homepage to check your credit balance online.

Q. My old Mug Club/King of the Hill Rewards Club card is lost/cracked/worn out, how do I obtain a replacement?

A. We can send you a replacement card. All your points, any rewards, and your account information will be transferred from your old card to the new card. Send us an email by clicking on the Inquiries/Comments button above and include the old card number (if you have it) and the address you would like the replacement card sent to. If you would rather, you can do this at your next visit at any of our locations!

Q. Can I buy a King of the Hill Rewards Club mug?

A. Unfortunately, the King of the Hill Rewards Club mugs are for King of the Hill Rewards Club members only. You will have to purchase a membership to receive a mug. It's one of the many perks of being a member!

Q. I received a Mug Club/King of the Hill Rewards Club membership as a gift, how do I access my account online?

A. Click on the Register My Card button above and enter the 14-digit card number located on the back of your card towards the bottom. Once you have logged in, update your information and click Save Profile.

Q. I recently moved to a new area and would like to receive newsletters from a closer Iron Hill location, how do I get that changed?

A. Log in to your King of the Hill Rewards Club account by clicking on the My Rewards Club Account button. Once you have entered your 14-digit card number and zip code, click on the My Rewards Club Profile button. Choose which Iron Hill location you would like to receive newsletters from the drop down menu and click Save Profile at the bottom.

Q. I am a King of the Hill Rewards Club member but am not receiving the newsletters, how can I get added to the distribution list?

A. Log in to your King of the Hill Rewards Club account by clicking on the My Rewards Club Account. Once you have entered your 14-digit card number and zip code, click on the My Rewards Club Profile button and enter/update your email address. Click Save Profile and you're all set. You can also join our mailing list by selecting Stay Informed at the top of the Iron Hill Home Page. Enter your info into the fields and click Submit. If your email address is listed correctly on your King of the Hill Rewards Club profile but you still aren't receiving our emails, check your spam filter or firewall settings.

Q. Can I use my King of the Hill card to purchase gift cards?

A. Unfortunately, King of the Hill rewards do not hold cash value so they cannot be used as payment for a gift card.
