Charity & Foundations

At Iron Hill we strive to create a feeling of warmth and care for each guest, which extends beyond the walls of our restaurants into the community. Each Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant participates locally in civic and community service, such as sponsoring Muscular Dystrophy Lock-Ups, hosting an annual brewery festival to benefit the Media Youth Center, participating in events to benefit a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and brewing signature beer with the Eagles’ Jon Runyan, with the proceeds going to Cystic Fibrosis.

The Triple Chocolate Hill is an impressive confection of moist double fudge brownies sitting on a warm bed of peanut butter-caramel sauce, covered in chocolate, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream.

.75 of each Chocolate Hill sold is donated to the CureSearch for Children's Cancer; and another .75 is donated to Variety – The Children’s Charity, specifically chosen by the staff at Iron Hill Newark.

CureSearch for Children's Cancer is a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support targeted and innovative children’s cancer research with measurable results, and be the authoritative source of information and resources for all those affected by children’s cancer. CureSearch accelerates the cure by driving innovation, eliminating research barriers and solving the field's most challenging problems; annually funding clinical trials and scientific research questions that challenge the status quo to push the field closer to a cure. Ultimately, CureSearch is working to change the odds for those children most at risk. www.curesearch.org

Variety - The Children’s Charity of Greater Philadelphia opened its Delaware Division on March 28, 2005 as part of an effort to better serve children with disabilities in the First State. 100% of the funds raised in Delaware  stay in Delaware. Variety is excited to spread the word about the charity’s Delaware Division as it reaches out and continues its mission to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities. www.varietyphila.org/who/about-delaware-division
