Charity & Foundations
At Iron Hill we strive to create a feeling of warmth and care for each guest, which extends beyond the walls of our restaurants into the community. Each Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant participates locally in civic and community service, such as sponsoring Muscular Dystrophy Lock-Ups, hosting an annual brewery festival to benefit the Media Youth Center, participating in events to benefit a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and brewing signature beer with the Eagles’ Jon Runyan, with the proceeds going to Cystic Fibrosis.
Double Chocolate Hill Charitable Donations
The Double Chocolate Hill is an impressive confection of moist chocolate cake with a warm peanut butter center, covered in a creamy chocolate ganache and accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
.75 of each Chocolate Hill sold is donated to the Curesearch National Childhood Cancer foundation (NCCF); and another .75 is donated to Variety – The Children’s Charity, specifically chosen by the staff at Iron Hill Newark.
CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation proudly supports the work of CureSearch Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a network of more than 5,000 physicians, nurses and scientists who conduct clinical trials and perform cutting-edge research to cure childhood cancer at more than 200 member institutions. CureSearch is dedicated to reaching the day when every child with cancer can be guaranteed a cure. www.curesearch.org
Variety - The Children’s Charity of Greater Philadelphia opened its Delaware Division on March 28, 2005 as part of an effort to better serve children with disabilities in the First State. 100% of the funds raised in Delaware stay in Delaware.
